This is something I usually don't do. If you ask how I am, I'll say I'm fine or something like that. But let me be honest with you now. I am not fine. I'm a total wreck. My thoughts are blurred, my dreams are dead. I'm seriously considering taking a certain way out....

OKAY STOP RIGHT THERE!

"Suicide is not chosen; it happens when pain exceeds resources for coping with pain."

That’s all it’s about. You are not a bad person, or crazy, or weak, or flawed, because you feel suicidal. It doesn’t even mean that you really want to die - it only means that you have more pain than you can cope with right now. If I start piling weights on your shoulders, you will eventually collapse if I add enough weights... no matter how much you want to remain standing. Willpower has nothing to do with it. Of course you would cheer yourself up, if you could.

Suicide is the act or an instance of intentionally killing oneself. It's the third leading cause of death in teens and overall in youths ages 10 to 19 years old. It is becoming more common every year in the United States. Suicide attempts are usually made when a person is seriously depressed or upset. A teen who is feeling suicidal may see no other way out of problems, no other escape from emotional pain, or no other way to communicate their desperate unhappiness.

If you or someone you know is suicidal, help is needed! Below are some helpful links to additional information. Check them out!!!
